Nayaswami Jyotish ji and Nayaswami  Devi ji

They are the Spiritual Co-directors of Ananda Worldwide, and disciples of Paramhansa Yogananda since 1969.

They have been personally trained by Swami Kriyananda to guide Ananda’s work worldwide and have taught and lectured around the United States, and in Europe, Russia, and India.

Nayaswamis Jyotish and Devi are both Kriyacharyas, designated to initiate people into Kriya Yoga. They are both published authors, and have authored 7 books.

Kriya Yoga is an ancient meditation technique of energy and breath control, or pranayama. It is part of a comprehensive spiritual path, which includes additional meditation practices along with right living.

Paramhansa Yogananda

Yogananda was the first great master of yoga to make his home in the West, coming to the U.S. from India in 1920 and living here until his passing.

Ananda is a global movement based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, founded in California in 1969 by Yogananda’s direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda. At Ananda, we share the path of Kriya Yoga as taught by Paramhansa Yogananda. Practical and scientific, the Kriya Yoga meditation course is offered over several weeks of study and preparation, culminating in initiation into the sacred path of Kriya Yoga.
